Welcome To

West Conwy Pubwatch.

Pubwatch is a voluntary organisation set up to promote best practice through supporting the work of local Licensees, Its aim is to achieve a safer drinking environment in all licence premises throughout the county of Conwy.

“People should be able to enjoy a good night out safely and responsibly without fear of being the victim of alcohol-related crime and disorder. The Government is committed to addressing this – and working with the industry and customers is a key element.

Pubwatch enables licensees to take collective action to ban troublemakers, while promoting effective working relations between licensees, the police and local authorities. The scheme helps to make licensed premises places where people can enjoy themselves safely and I am pleased to support it.”

Victoria Atkins MP – Minister for Crime, Safeguarding and vulnerability (24/4/19)

“Pubwatch plays a key role in promoting good practice and supporting local Premises which can make a real difference to improving the safety of people working and socialising in our towns.”
